One comment on “GOLD MEDAL IN NON-FICTION FOR THE 82ND ANNUAL CALIFORNIA BOOK AWARDS

  1. Hello California & Dr. Sweet,
What an appropriate surname for such a wonderful human being and Doctor!! I just finished reading God’s Hotel (a borrowed library book, to be honest) and found it so profound in many ways.
I find myself asking, “what would Hildegard do” in order to help me personally deal with my anxiety/stress attacks. At 64 years of age I am beginning to accumulate too many daily pills to take.
The story of the pilgrimage to Compostelo is quite spiritual and a journey i would love to experience. If only I had the courage to do so.
I hope Doctor Victoria Sweet writes another book soon. I am so happy that her book won awards. As I pray my Rosary beads, I will have her and Hildegard of Bingen in mind always.
My new library book is called “Half-Life of Facts” by Dr. Samuel Arbesman and the previous book to God’s Hotel was, “The Particle at the End of the Universe” by Dr. Sean Carroll.
Best Regards. Victor Cataquet of Quincy
